Your responsibilities in a nutshell

  • You will turn functional specs into technical specs and then into code.
  • You will write efficient, tested, and safe code that is easy to read and extend.
  • You will take a pragmatic approach in finding and fixing problems.
  • You will help colleagues write better code through PR reviews and pair programming sessions.
  • You will work with our QA team enable them to test your work.
  • You will sync with the product team about functional specs to explain what is easy or hard to do and you will  give feedback to help shape the future of the product.
  • You will write detailed, comprehensive, and clear documentation whenever necessary.
  • You will own features from A (product spec) to Z (deploy) and be responsible for successful release.

Do you have what it takes?

  • You have a solid understanding of version control (e.g. Git).
  • You have excellent communication skills (offline and online).
  • You have good English skills, both oral and written.
  • You have experience contributing to rich front end applications.
  • You are familiar with managing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and AWS.
  • You are experienced in unit testing, integration testing, end to end testing.
  • You can enjoy working with your teammates, but getting in the flow means you can work independently.
  • You have 4+ years of Javascript experience.
  • You have deep React knowledge.
  • You have a proven track record in owning large applications successfully.
  • You have 2+ years of NodeJS experience.
  • You have working experience with GraphQL and Redux.
  • You are familiar with at least one other frontend framework (Angular, Vue, Ember).
  • You have experience building and maintaining NPM packages.
  • Your location: Belgium (Brussels area) or France (Lyon area).
