Your day-to-day work

SweepBright developers work every day to deliver a best-in-class SaaS application for real estate agents. Our iOS App is the industry-leading mobile product for real estate agencies. We help agents to be more mobile and we focus on automating as many tasks around the real estate transaction as possible.

Here's how you can help to achieve that goal:

    • Turn functional specs into technical specs and then into code.
    • Lead development of the iOS app, including making long-term architectural and design decisions.
    • Take a pragmatic approach in finding and fixing problems.
    • Help colleagues write better code through PR reviews and pair programming sessions.
    • Communicate to people responsible for QA how your work can be tested.
    • Sync with the product team about functional specs to explain what is easy or hard to do and giving feedback to help shape the future of the product.
    • Write detailed, comprehensive, and clear documentation whenever necessary.
    • Own features from A (product spec) to Z (deploy) and be responsible for a successful release.

Because we like to be clear up front, here are some of the challenges specifically for the iOS App:

  • There is still some legacy code present in the app. It's not widespread, but should be cleaned up.
  • We are transitioning to SwiftUI and a new architecture. There is some UIKit code left to refactor.
  • The CI flow needs improvements.
